PFA Tube

High Purity Tubing
In the semiconductor and pharmaceutical industries, PFA HP (High Purity) tubing is used for fluid handling applications requiring an extremely low level of chemical extractables. More information on the properties of PFA resin can be found in our Tech Info section.

FEP

Applications
Applications where FEP tubing is chosen usually require more clarity, flexibility or a lower heat shrinkable temperature than PTFE. More information on the properties of FEP resin can be found in our Tech Info section.

Advantages of FEP Tubing

  • Lower heat shrink temperature than PTFE
  • More flexible than PTFE
  • More optically clear than PTFE
  • More lubricious than PFA

PTFE

Key Properties
  • Very Lubricious - Lowest coefficient of friction of any polymer
  • Working temperature range 500° F (260° C) to -454° F (–270° C)
  • Chemically Resistant (all common solvents, acids and bases)
  • Chemically Inert
  • Low extractable
  • Excellent Dielectric Insulation Properties
